24-hour emergency medical assistance to all the residents of Midstream, their staff and visitors

The paramedic personnel are trained and equipped to assess a patient, do CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), put up an intravenous line, monitor the heart and defibrillate, apply appropriate splints and arrange for transport ambulance services. Paramedics are not allowed to medicate patients.

It is important to note that this is not an ambulance service to transport patients. The main aim of an ILS (Intermediate Life Support) paramedic is to assess and stabilise a patient before deciding on the next appropriate level of care that the patient needs.
